Summer's over...now what?

The kids are back in school and summer is basically over.  Temperatures are cooling down and we start to look at things to be done around the house.  Perhaps it is time to finally organize the garage?

Come join us at one of the locations to learn more about our systems.  In addition, the automotive flea market is perfect for the car enthusiast and the home show features lots of local businesses that can assist you with all your home improvements and decorating needs. You can even pick up your fall mums at the same time!

It's official!  Christmas is only 108 days away.

Holiday shopping season is approaching quickly!  How will you make your store stand out?  Will you decorate the store windows with fake snow or holiday pictures?  Will you decorate your shop with Christmas trees, garland or other decorations?  Perhaps you will play holiday themed music?

Another way to keep that spirit going is to wrap or package purchases in holiday themed products such as red and green tissue paper, ribbon, printed holiday bags or holiday gift wrap.

For those that give gifts to employees or business associates, you may wish to look at reusable bags as gift wrap.  These bags come customized with your logo and are a great addition to a gift basket, or as packaging for the gift itself - think custom wine bags!

Whatever you choose, most store owners find decorating for the holidays helps the potential customer get "in the holiday spirit," a mindset that tends to lead to increased purchases thus increased revenue for you!

CGTA Delights!

Last week, we travelled to the CGTA to see what was new in the world of retail and gifts.

The fall CGTA is held at both the Convention Centre and the International Centre, near the Toronto airport.  It is impossible to look at everything in one day, even speedwalking through the aisles!

As I looked at all the wonderful wares, I was overcome with a desire to open my own little boutique, just so I could buy stuff at distributor pricing.  The logic is as follows:  I open a little cafe featuring my baking and lots of interesting items.  It would be filled with delightful knicknacks and decorated with other goodies found at the show (I see a pretty lighted tree, some funky mirrors, hanging lights and awesome tables and chairs.  The background and counters will be a dark wood with lots of colourful accessories to brighten the area).  Off to the side, we will have a showroom for Simcoe North. This idea could be the best of all worlds!

But I digress.  Back to the world of supplying these wonderful ventures with everything retailers need to display and package their wares.

First off, you are probably wondering what we do?  The answer is simple - we provide everything you need to display and sell your product!

The majority of store fixture and packaging businesses in Ontario are located in the GTA or Ottawa area, thus, Simcoe County and Muskoka business owners are relatively under-serviced.  We hope to bridge that gap by providing personal service to local clients.
